Quality education has different connotation for various communities throughout the world. One of the most common statements is a higher level of community participation that supports learning (Meer Lal, 2009). The ultimate goal of inclusive quality educations is to end all forms of discrimination & foster social cohesion (UNESCO, 2009) from many sides. Focusing particularly on Vulnerable & marginalized groups, it seeks to develop the full potential of every individual. Present study attempted to identify some negative roles of visual media on the mental health of slum area adolescents. Personality as an indicator of mental health, one of the inner potentiality, is an expressive term of one’s behaviour by which they express themselves and perceive others. ‘Humanness functions’(HFs), a type of Indigenous personality consists of ten ‘human qualities’, depicted from ‘Manu’, which is described by Chatterjee, D, 2004. Psychological healthiness can be measured by measuring those human qualities. Though media, play a vital role to create many positive attitudes among all the generations, but visual communication instead of developing personality, sometime affects that psychological healthiness of adolescents. Sometimes for the necessity of the society and mass awareness, this media collects and published some exclusive photography which is very harmful for mind and personality of young generation. Present study attempted to find out such categories of furious photography under five brought heads like terrorism, sexuality, sad-incident etc. and also attempted to identify the influence of these pictures by brain wave measuring through EEG, on some aforesaid ‘human qualities’ in the personalities of the adolescents of slum area. The study was conducted using the standardized instrument, viz. ‘Humanness Functions Assessment’ (HFA) scale and neurosky - mind wave on 150 young male slum duellers of lower class category from miscellaneous professions like street hawkering, begging, labouring, etc. of the same locality of three slums under grater Kolkata. Investigator tried to analyse the effects of visualization of these types of photography on adolescents’ mental health and personality with suitable example. Findings revealed some negative correlations, that indicate some negative roles of visual communication on society and suggest to maintain more consciousness about the uses of this furious photography. Otherwise, instead of positive role, media acts as a villain due to their negative role & all efforts for inclusive education will be failed.
